The goal of this site is to inform K-12 social studies educators about available social studies resources and Arkansas Department of Education updates to benefit you and your students.
What’s New?
Dr. Peter S. Onuf, University of Virginia Esteemed Historian and Co-host of the radio show BackStory with the American Guys will be presenting George Washington and Presidential Power: The Early Debates at the Clinton Presidential Library on the June 13, beginning at 5:30 with cookies and punch and the presentation at 6:00-7:30. Gilder Lehrman History Institute, the Clinton Presidential Library and Clinton Foundation have partnered with the Little Rock School District to culminate 10 years of Teaching American History Grant activities with this evening. This is open to the community.
Dr. Peter S. Onuf, University of Virginia will do a presentation that sets the stage for an upcoming exhibit at the Clinton Presidential Library. George Washington’s copy of the Constitution will be on display in July. Peter Onuf - guest speaker 6-13-13.pdf
